Dear Pastor and church family,

We are excited to offer our church’s second annual College and Career Conference at Calvary Baptist Church in Knob Noster, Missouri! This event is for singles ages 18 and up AND who are serious about serving the Lord in their lives. We also want to provide an opportunity for those who are interested in making connections with others who may or may not be geographically close and to create a place of spiritual safety while hearing solid Biblical preaching that relates to their stage of life.

I have dedicated some time over the last couple of years to consider some of the struggles that single folks in like-minded churches go through. A particular thought occurred to me over and over again. That thought is this “I wonder if they feel forgotten in churches that primarily focus on families?” As this thought kept coming in my mind, an even greater thought emerged. “I wonder if they ever feel alone?” This is just some of what has been on my heart the last several months.

With our best and most sincere effort to be an encouragement to our singles and yours, our church is once again hosting a College & Career Conference. While this is a big under-taking, we believe the Lord can and will use it for His glory as we strive to minister to these folks. This event will be at our church from Friday evening June 20th to Saturday afternoon June 21st and everyone is invited to stay over through our regular services on the 22nd. While we are still in the planning phase of this Conference, there are a few things that we would like to share with you as you make preparations to attend:

2. Registration cost is $40 per person

• Friday Night-2 sessions, games, dinner provided
• Saturday Morning/Afternoon-3 sessions, games, lunch provided
