We are excited to offer our church’s first College and Career Conference at Calvary Baptist Church in Knob Noster, Missouri! This event is for singles ages 18 and up AND who are serious about serving the Lord in their lives. This Conference is for those who are interested in making connections with others who may or may not be geographically close and to create a place of spiritual safety while hearing solid Biblical preaching that relates to their stage of life. I have recently taken some time to consider some of the struggles that single folks in like-minded churches go through. Many of them can easily feel forgotten, overlooked, and even ignored during a time of life when they are making some of the most pivotal decisions. Many times, churches do not even realize that this is the case, but nonetheless, it happens. Many of us who are not single feel the “weight” of living for Christ daily but have a family to help us stay strong at home and a church geared toward helping us push forward as a family. It is difficult for us to imagine the fact that there are single folks who are members of our churches, endure the same temptations and struggles as we do, but they must try to stay strong in their walk with God without the accountability and companionship that we with families have. This is just some of what has been on my heart the last several months. With our best and most sincere effort to be an encouragement to our singles and yours, our church is hosting its first College & Career Conference. While this is a big under-taking, we believe the Lord can and will use it for His glory as we strive to minister to these folks. This event will be at our church from June 21st-22nd and everyone is invited to stay over through our regular services on the 23rd. We ask that you plan to attend this conference at Calvary Baptist Church from June 21st-22nd, 2024. We are very excited to be planning this event and we hope to see you there!

Registration cost is $40 (does not include the hotel cost) and can be paid upon arrival.

Friday, June 21st, 2024, from 5:00pm-9:00pm (Dinner/Last Minute Registration begins @ 5:00pm) Saturday, June 22nd, 2024, from 7:00am-3:00pm (Breakfast begins @ 7:00am, Lunch will be around 12:00pm) We have 12 rooms blocked off at Comfort Inn-Sedalia and 12 rooms at Comfort Inn-Warrensburg. Please mention the College & Career Conference at Calvary Baptist Church for those rooms and the group rate will be included in your pricing.
